Early manuscript notes in brown ink, most of them in the first book with brackets and manicules; numerous corrections in text, some of them in margins using signes-de-renvoi; words printed in Greek, transliterated in margins. Circular bookstamp on title page with a saint and "Domus S. Nicolai Tolent. Venet."; autograph of Herman Charles Hoskier with his date "Jan. 1903" and notes on front pastedown (not located in the Sotheby sale catalog of pt. of his library, June 1908); bookplate of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924.
