A few early manuscript finding notes in brown ink, with a few corrections in text, and manuscript signatures. Inscription on leaf [a]2r "Ad usu[m] Fr[atr]is marci antonij pese[n]tis" in same hand as notes; shelfmark "LL3/29" at head of verso of front pastedown, repeated as "LL3:29" at head of recto of 1st leaf, of the Sunderland library, with the Spencer coat of arms gold tooled on both covers (no. 7067 in the Puttick and Simpson sale catalog, 1881-1883). Calf binding with Spencer coat of arms gold tooled on covers; evidence of a tab on leaf [b]1; edges painted in red.
