Last leaf, blank, lacking. Numerous manuscript notes in brown ink throughout the book, with brackets, underlining, manicules (some finding notes and manicules have been crossed out), and some initials supplied in same ink; a few corrections in text, and manuscript mention of assigned liturgical date at head of some of the sermons; manuscript numbering on leaves 2a1-2o3, reading 1-107; other sets of manuscript notes on flyleaves and endpapers. Contemporary Italian sheepskin binding, blind tooled with a border of floral stamps and a cross shaped design made of individual stamps in central panel, on both covers; remains of 4 ties; inscription on lower edge "Omil: S: Greg:" reading from spine to fore-edge; rebacked; in a tailored box. Ownership inscriptions on front endpaper (the 1st one repeated and dated 1503 and 1507), reading: "Iste liber est Concesus ad vsu[m] D. Antoni Nouariensis Qui legerint eu[m] orent pro eo ad dominu[m]", "1526 M. Pedro Paulo de vinzago in porta Ticinesa [...?] al ne[...?] [...?] Boniforte Amico et Cognato n[ost]ro", and "1724 Io Gio. Batt[ist]a Belluzi [?] Ad. 10 Jullio del [...?] Ann. [...?]"; another mark of ownership, defaced, illegible on recto of 1st leaf; bookplate of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924.
