Manuscript notes, corrections in text, and manicules; manuscript numbering of leaves starting on leaf a2, reading 31-92 (not including gathering k) with errors; initials provided in brown ink; manuscript love poem in Italian and other inscriptions (defaced, illegible) on verso of last leaf. Book has been partially washed; last page's lining, once pasted on verso of last leaf, is now removed; repaired. Bookplate "Syston Park", and monogram label of Sir John H. Thorold (no. 572 in the Sotheby sale catalog of his library, Dec. 1884); purchased in 1902.
