Folger copy 74 is a collection of 193 miscellaneous disjunct leaves. Wanting all before D3 (comprising all of prelims., Temp., and Two Gent.) and all after 2t5 (comprising all of Antony and Cymb.). Other leaves wanting comprise all of 1 Hen. IV except the first and last pages and all of Hen. V, Troilus, Romeo, and Hamlet, as well as parts of other plays. Lists of leaves present on file. Many leaves are imperfect, affecting text; on file are lists of leaves mutilated with affect on text and of other leaves with other imperfections affecting text. No list of uncorrected states on file. Manuscript additions include inscription (ca. 1750) "Elias Sutton Pharmacopola Londinensis" (c4 verso). Housed in the shell of a binding--RESTRICTED USE. Not in Sidney Lee's Census of copies of the first folio, nor in his Notes & additions.
