In Folger copy 8, [superscript pi]A1 has all margins cropped and is mounted and ruled in red; [superscript pi]A1+1 (title leaf) is closely trimmed, mounted, and ruled in red. Leaves [superscript pi]A2-6 are patched and/or mounted, and [superscript pi]A5+1.2 are bound after [superscript pi]A6. 3b6 is mounted. Port. (on title page) in state 3. Leaves o1-4,6 are supplied from other copies; probably supplied are 2[par.]2, 2b1-6, Gg1-5, and 2h2-6; and perhaps supplied are b6 and 2g1.2. Accompanied by a separate manuscript list, ca. 1775, categorizing the plays in the First Folio as "authentick editions" and as "no perfect editions ... more ancient" (sewn to rear flyleaf). Said to be bound by Roger Payne. Inscribed (front flyleaf) "Manderston". Robert Tait-Charles H. Kalbfleisch-Charles C. Kalbfleisch copy.
