Scope and content
Concerning the struggle for control of theaters in London following the Restoration with mention of Davenant and Killigrew and an official demand for lowering the rates at the Cockpit Theatre in Drury Lane (to the rates "as were formerly taken at the Black-fryers, by the Late Company of Actors") and for the right to censor plays.
