In contemporary pigskin over wooden boards; blind-rolled medallion frame with central panels depicting Lucretia stabbing herself (upper) and Justice holding scales (lower). "IHC" and "1601" stamped on upper cover; remains of clasps (one working). Inscription on paste-down endpaper: "Hunc librum dono dedit inveni ornatissimo Richtero , C.A. Koechly." Other inscriptions (indecipherable) dated 1762. Inscription on t.p.: "Sum ex libris Wolfgangi C[?] anno 1603." Vol. 1 paginated in manuscript
