In contemporary alum-tawed pigskin over wooden boards with blind-rolled frames with repeated figures of Christ, David, and Paul, on tablets below each: "Salvator," "David," and "Paulus." Stamped at head of central panel: "I W P Z R;" remains of clasps with ms. vellum waste used as lining to straps; edges stained red. Inscription on front paste-down endpaper: "Ex libris Samüelis M. Bölöui an[no] 1787 die 25ta Januar Kuttenberg. Extensive ms. bibliographical passage in an early hand on verso of front free endpaper. T.p. with numerous scribblings. Underscoring and numerous ms. notes throughout text.
