McInnis and Steggle argue that this manuscript fragment is a verse translation of part of Erasmus's Colloquies, more specifically, the Convivium religiosum or The Godly Feast (1522).
The fragment is possibly connected to a lost Massinger play called Feast (or taste) and Welcome.
